We discovered Doug from Totalupkeep maintenance about 3 months ago and have not been sorry. Doug has fixed a hole in the wall of our house (My fault, pushed fridge into the wall with my car) ;( and has done numerous repairs on our rental property (re-sealing silicone in the shower, cupboards in kitchen repairs, step trends on external stairs, bedroom, cupboard door repairs, and is about to replace the stair stringers and trends on the front stairs.).
His work has been very good quality and his pricing is very fair and competitive. Doug consults with you and explains things well in an easy to understand manner.
Doug is on time and cleans up after himself. :) No hidden surprises of extra costs etc and if something is discovered which changes the work required or cost, he lets you know straight away.

I recently hired Douglas Smith from Total Upkeep Maintenance for a few odd jobs around the house, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, Douglas was professional, punctual, and incredibly skilled.
He took care of several tasks for me – hanging plants from the ceiling, installing blinds, and mounting a few rails – all done with precision and care. What really blew me away, though, was the transformation of my front yard. Douglas leveled the area and laid fresh turf, turning it into a lush, beautiful space that seriously boosted my curb appeal. The attention to detail was phenomenal, and he made sure everything was done right the first time.
